Experienced Austin aparment locators

Austin apartments can be difficult to find on your own, especially with so many different areas of town to choose from. A+ Apartment Locators offers hundreds of current, quality listings and a comprehensive Austin apartment guide to help you relocate. Some of the areas of Austin to consider…

North Austin: The Arboretum, Balconies Wood, Anderson Mill, Cedar Park, Leander and Lake Travis Areas
We are the Arboretum and NW Austin's premier residential and corporate apartment locators. While we can help you locate an apartment anywhere in Austin, we specialize in serving the North and Northwest Austin areas, and can place you close to Austin's high tech companies including Dell Computers, IBM, Tandem and Compaq Computers. Northwest Austin apartments feature wonderful amenities including tennis courts, weight rooms, hot tubs and even high speed Internet access. Northwest Austin is also known for the great Round Rock ISD schools and a strong family-friendly culture. There are many rentals to accommodate families including family-friendly apartment complexes, townhomes, duplexes and even rental homes. Whatever your families’ lifestyle, we can find a rental property here that fits your needs.

Central Austin: Downtown, SOCO (South Congress), SOLA (South Lamar), Zilker, Bouldin Creek, Travis Heights, Clarksville, Enfield
While in the past housing opportunities in Central Austin might have seemed slim, now- you can live right in the heart of central Austin in almost any type of property you like from houses to townhomes, duplexes to condos. The beauty of central Austin is the ability to walk to the many events that take place downtown like Bat Fest, ACL, First Night, Zilker Kite Festival and many, many more. The dining and entertainment of downtown Austin are unparalleled anywhere else in the city with a host, club, bars, events and live music options nightly. However, for the convenience and lifestyle downtown offers, apartments and other rental properties here also command higher rents. Don’t count central Austin out just because you have a family. Many families call central Austin home. Austin is one of the few cities with a very family-friendly downtown. There are many parks and facilities downtown that focus on the family, like Zilker Park, Lady Bird Johnson Park, the Dougherty Arts Center, Lady Bird Lake and the Dell Children’s Museum. The largest and most well-kept outdoor and exercise areas of Austin actually share the same space with office buildings and the capital.

East Austin: East of I35
Considered the most culturally diverse area of Austin, East Austin is a treasure trove of unique architecture and experiences. From the turn-of-the-century homes lining the banks of Lady Bird Lake to Fiesta Gardens and modern “green” buildings, East Austin draws an eclectic crowd of artists, yuppies, students and families of every race and creed. Apartment, condo and townhome options have increased considerably in East Austin in recent years. Modern construction dots the skyline offering more local retail and creating a walkable East side that is extremely close to all that downtown Austin has to offer. Best of all East Austin is still relatively less expensive than downtown with many of the same conveniences and a very cool vibe.

UT Campus Area
Bordered by MLK, Lamar, 26th Street and I35 campus is a coveted area for who else, but students! With a hugely transient population, the UT campus area abounds with rental opportunities. Brand new luxury apartments, older condos, even townhomes and some rental homes are available for students who want the convenience of walking to class without out having to deal with the hassles of campus parking. Most of the living area around UT that houses these apartments, townhomes and conods is considered “West Campus”. This is also where many of the fraternities and sororities are located and some of UT’s most famous haunts like Cain and Able’s and The Drag (aka Guadalupe between MLK and 26th). The “Cattle Call”, as it is affectionately called, is the large pedestrian crossing between West Campus and the 40 Acres that house most of UT’s educational buildings.

South Austin: Oak Hill, Sunset Valley, Circle C, Travis Country, the Brodie Area, and SOCO (South Congress) south of 290.
Traditionally South Austin has always been thought of as the “hippie” side of town, a draw for artistic, earth-conscious people that preferred the farmers market to the local grocery store. With major communities like Circle C, Meridian and Covered Bridge now anchoring the area, now you can find all kinds of rental opportunities in a very family friendly area of town that still covets its green space and the Sunset Valley farmers market. As with any other suburban area, there are many luxury apartment communities throughout South Austin, but unlike other suburban areas there are also some very unique rental opportunities in new modern construction townhomes and condos, mid-century homes, even some turn-of-the-century construction in the SOCO area near 290. Some of the highlights of South Austin include the Sunset Valley Farmers Market, the Austin Zoo, Salt Lick, the Nutty Brown Café, the Mandola and Driftwood Wineries, Twin Falls park, and the largest Austin Community College campus in the city. Anchor communities like Circle C and Meridian also enjoy brand new schools, grocery stores, restaurants and entertainment venues.
